The hardware configuration is perfect for working on business applications as well as software products for home users. The system barely irks when you are trying to edit photos, video or large family album. Though video-editing applications do not display steady performance on Novatech Icon desktop PC but if your footages are split into small sizes video editing software works much better on this PC.
Gaming experiences are also endorsed by Novatech Icon but you should not expect to play any games beyond the included Microsoft Games. This PC uses high speed RAM to ensure fast boot-ups and application load times (Novatech use 800MHz instead of the standard 667MHz used in competitor systems). Also, motherboard made up of 690V chipsets lacks support for TMDS output and HDMI output.
Overall the system is pretty neat with the full range AMD Athlon processor clocked at a speedy 2.6GHz provides unbound performance output on any applications. The 320GB Hard Drive has enough space for 90,000 digital photos and/or 140 hours of DVD quality video, high speed network connection, and integrated ATI graphics.
With in-built graphics processor the system alleviates the need to purchase a graphics card. This is a good feature for a cheaper system but expecting the latest and greatest in graphical processing power is unrealistic.
