Value Line H200 is a nettop computer inspired by Netbook’s hardware and software specification offering basic computing solution with standard multimedia functionality in a glossy cover. Works on about 60W less energy as against other standard computers this small device also takes care of your environment. It is packed with advanced technologies and supports innovative device that include support for the Intel GMA950 integrated graphics, roomy 320GB storage and loads of software applications. Shiny exterior makes this system attractive-looking.
Design
Design wise Lenovo Value line H200 Desktop PC caters both to the aesthetic aspect and technology requirement of a personal computer. Bathed in glossy black paint and smooth lustre wrapped all around its body with thin red line run across its face giving this nettop a classy look. The H-series not only has sleek and sophisticated look but its fan less design also complements with the cutting-edge Intel’s latest platform technology ideal for increased energy efficiency and a cooler, quieter environment. It fits just as easily underneath your desk as on your desktop, offering easy front-panel access to the power button, disk drives, card readers, USB ports and audio input and output measuring just 6.9″ W X 16.1″ D X 14.2″ H and weighs 9.1 kg
Designed on 25L ATX form factor this system is ideal for tight and compact spaces. However, the design is not without a flaw. The power button located on the top of the CPU unit is definitely a bad design strategy because if you rest your hand on the CPU the system can accidentally turn it on or off.

Inside the PC Value line H200
Unlocking H200 computers unveils powerhouse components that include Intel’s mighty Atom 230 processor with Intel Execute Disable Bit and Hyper-Threading Technology offering greater performance and speed but acts as a Super saver in terms of preserving energy consumption. There is no doubt that this processor is the backbone of Lenovo’s H-series netttops. Considering Atom’s power and agility Lenovo updated pretty much all its forthcoming desktop PC with the Intel® Atom™ processor. The processor is built on the low-power Intel® Atom™ micro architecture with in-built 45nm technology offering added performance, scalability, and brings on the features of dual-core processing to the nettop platform. Designed primarily for nettop PCs it also delivers platform solution for content consumption-based activities such as photo and video viewing, social networking, VoIP, e-mail, messaging, browsing, and numerous other Internet activities and basic applications.
Being the smallest Intel processor and built on the world’s smallest transistors Atom offers features like Small Form Factor CPU Package based on new lead-free, halogen-free Micro-Flip Chip package which is 70% smaller (22 x 22 mm) than a desktop CPU (37.5 x 37.5 mm), saving system board real estate in a much thinner and smaller industrial design. The low Thermal Design Power (TDP) tunes smaller desktop computing devices for the Internet due to the lower cooling requirements. Its power-Optimized Front Side Bus minimizes power needed to transmit data to the processor and its Enhanced Data Prefetcher and Enhanced Register Access Manager automatically anticipates data the processor is likely to need and stores the information within the processor’s L2 cache. This results in improved performance since the processor doesn’t have to wait as long for data. Intel® Advanced Smart Cache and bus design is meant for efficient data sharing, providing enhanced performance, responsiveness, and power savings. Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 provides 3D graphics performance for a good visual computing experience. The audio support is provided by Integrated Intel® High Definition Audio 5.1 enabling quality sound and delivers advanced features such as multiple audio streams and jack re-tasking.
The CPU unit also houses 512 KB L2 Cache Memory, 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM running at 667 MHz supporting PC2-5300 with DIMM 240-pin, 2 DDR channels. The real time access is back up by 1 x 160 GB Standard Serial ATA-300 hard drives running at 7200 rpm. The optical storage is configured to support DVD-Writer - Serial ATA. The graphics output is controlled by Integrated Intel GMA 950 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0

Performance
Storage is the biggest advantage of this Value line H200 desktop computer. With 320GB hard drive you can pretty much store all your personal and professional belongings. You can not only store audio and video files but can also organize all your important documents in a single place without having the need to move files to an external storage. Along with the roomy storage 2GB real time access enables Windows Vista to work just fine even when you install loads of your personal software.
Pre-installed RAM is enough for your day-to-day administrative job which takes care of any word processing, report generation, internet downloads, and so on. Even the games pre-bundled with Vista works perfect. However, replacing MS Vista with Windows Xp will definitely free up some additional space and you can use the unused RAM elsewhere. If you intend to run MS Vista and try to install high power multimedia game you may face some downturn. Consider upgrading the RAM. Other than that it is a pretty decent system which is capable of performing basic computing jobs. The system is not meant to perform high-level computing or running enterprise software, like servers.
The powerful processor is the best feature of this system. Atom 230 adds unlimited power and speed to your application software. Photo editing, playing movies or creating album are not only easy but faster. You will not face a single irk even when working on your publishing software, multimedia files, word documents. Large word files work amazingly quick on Lenovo H200 nettops.
Performance, power well-blended with classy design makes H200 worth buying. Though it does not come with a monitor, but you can attach any 19-inch monitor and it works perfect. Ideally you should buy Lenovo monitor with this desktop PC but non-Lenovo TFT monitor also goes well with H-series nettops.
Numerous I/O ports make connectivity real easy. Attach any external device including digital camera, iPod and the system will be able to communicate without a slight downtrend.
It is definitely a best system around from Lenovo if you are looking for a new addition to your home-office or simply need to replace your old computer.
